I suppose it's high time that I filled this in with more than inane comments of "Yay, my LJ's up!" :)

The content of this LJ is basically fic. It started off as purely focused on Kyo Kara Maou (which I love to bits) and is now mainly filled with xXxholic fic (a fandom I also love to bits :). I still have a lot of KKM to write but at the moment xXx takes up most of my brain power. And by the looks of things, it's going to be for quite a while. Not that I mind :)

If you go trawling through my earlier work, though, I suggest you don't take it too seriously. It was a difficult time for me and my outlook wasn't improved by the fact that it was the depth of winter and I didn't see much sunlight. Not a good recipe for balanced writing :)

And about myself. I find this largely irrelevant - you can enjoy my writing without knowing anything about me (it's probably better that way, actually). But here's a few facts:
-Reading and writing have been a main staple of my life for the last fifteen or so years. Books make up a good part of the insulation in my room
-I consider myself a rather laid-back person. I will rarely get angry - annoyance is mostly the limit of my distemper - but I do regularly get hyperactive with excitement. Usually when I have something new to read or I've got really good company to look forward to.
-One of the most enjoyable pleasures in life for me is driving with the window down and good music playing loud - and the enjoyment factor only increases when this involves going home from work :) Not that I'm not fond of my job - it's just wonderful to be finished for the night.
-The key to living as I have found it: Determination and Perseverance. They'll get you through when strength, intelligence and charisma fails you (and I believe everyone has these qualities to some degree). If you have a goal then nothing can stop you. And if you persevere eventually you will run into the break that will get you through. The key is hanging in until you get there.
